Cold call · Liam O’Connor
Strong recovery from the opening brush-off, and the renewal-date pivot was the turn of the call. You still over-explained after the yes — the meeting was booked forty seconds before you stopped selling it.
Referee’s call: Meeting booked. The brush-off at 01:12 nearly ended it — the pivot to their renewal window saved the call.

“Because renewals are where you have leverage — and you’re nine months from yours.”01:38This is the line that flipped the call — you gave him a reason that was about his calendar, not your product.
The rubric
A different rubric for every conversation.
A generic communication score can't tell a cold call from a layoff. Every scenario here ships its own five dimensions — the same sentence can win one conversation and lose another.

25+ scenarios, 25+ rubrics — versioned, so your scores stay comparable over time.
The evidence
Evidence, not vibes.
The coach doesn't say you were unclear — it quotes the sentence, stamps the timestamp, and tells you what to do with it.

“You’ll delete it. Give me twenty seconds instead.”01:15
Perfect brush-off counter — honest about their behavior, tiny ask, zero apology. Keep this line.
“...basically, sort of a workflow thing...”01:38
You won twenty seconds and spent them hedging. One sharp sentence here — you had it in the opener.
The delivery
Different metrics designed for each scenario.
Talk ratio, pace, monologue length, fillers — every scenario sets its own bands. The delivery that wins a pitch loses a crisis call, and the targets know it.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
How is a call scored?
Against the scenario's own rubric — a cold call on earning the meeting and handling the brush-off, a layoff on clarity and compassion, an interview on structure and evidence. Five dimensions per scenario, each scored with lines quoted from your transcript.
Is the feedback generic communication advice?
No — that's the point of scenario rubrics. The same sentence can be a strength in one conversation and a mistake in another, and the coach judges you by the scenario's definition of good, not a universal one.
Can I get coaching on real calls, not just practice?
Yes — upload a recorded call and it's transcribed and scored through the same rubrics, with the same evidence-quoted report.
What delivery metrics are measured?
Talk ratio, pace, longest monologue and filler words — each judged against the scenario's target band. Pace that's right for a pitch is wrong for a crisis call, and the targets know the difference.
Can the report be written in a different language than the call?
Yes — practice in Spanish and read your coaching in English, or any pairing of the ten supported languages.
